Our Story

We are twin sisters, Kaneisha and Taneisha Callahan, founders of Pretti Hair Collection LLC established in 2019. Our journeys to natural hair had very different beginnings!

Taneisha's hair journey began in December of 2015 when she decided that she wanted to embrace her natural hair. She began doing her own research on how to grow and maintain natural hair, all while trying to inspire her sister to transition; however, she was not ready.

It was not until the fall of 2016 that Kaneisha would join her sister on the journey to obtaining natural healthy hair. Kaneisha's natural hair journey began in September of 2016 when she was forced to undergo the "Big Chop" due to a botched routine hair chemical incident causing hair loss and thinning. Kaneisha began doing her own research to find products that would help thicken and strengthen her hair, but it quickly became too expensive.

So, after our personal experiences with becoming natural we began making our own products. We started with our all-natural hair butter cream made from a natural blend of organic and unrefined butters that act as a moisture sealant to protect one’s hair. The response and hair growth success stories from patrons, family and friends was tremendous and inspired a whole organic hair care line!
